Recycling - Can I Recycle This, and If So, What Happens to It?
Friday March 7, 2025 12:00pm - 1:00pm EST
For his actual paying job, Amarok is a national expert on recycling recovery and circularity. If you have ever wondered what items you should or should not throw into the recycling bin (or where you should take hard to recycle items), this session is for you. And we will discuss some of the misconceptions regarding recycling and circularity (both the good and the bad!). And finally, we can talk about the current state of technology and how things might improve in the future and what people can do to help improve their carbon footprint and circularity in general. The goal is to be interactive and to answer your questions!

Labor organization trends in tech and creative industries
Saturday March 8, 2025 11:30am - 12:30pm EST

In this presentation, Atha will speak about their experience with the organizing campaign for a union of game developers, broader trends in labor organization in tech and creative industries, and tips and resources if you're looking to start or grow your own union organizing campaign.
